It is the mission of Appalachian Mountain Services, Inc.
to design and tailor effective delinquent tax collection
programs to meet the needs of individual governmental taxing
authorities. These programs will use innovative technology
and methods while complying with the laws of the state of
Georgia and the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act.
Appalachian will conduct business in a professional manner
that is legal, ethical and moral.
Appalachian is owned and operated by individuals
with several years of delinquent tax collection experience.
Members of our leadership team have:
- Over twenty years of collection and foreclosure
experience.
- Thirty years of locating and skip tracing experience.
- Other
team members have over thirty years of investigative
experience in both the public and private sectors.
- Our
staff includes a retired tax commissioner.
- A retired
Georgia Department of Revenue auditor, who is the co-author
of the current Delinquent Tax Collection Manual being
used in the State of Georgia.
- A law enforcement officer
who began conducting title research in 1969.
Some members of our staff have extensive local, county
and state government service. All of this experience adds
up to the ability to deliver the best service possible. |
